Kingwood Technical Support Services for Schools

Kingwood City Learning Centre has provided schools in Hammersmith and Fulham with technical support for curriculum ICT through an annual service level agreement since the CLC was established in 2002 . Kingwood City Learning Centre now has a team of experienced technicians whose particular expertise has developed through working directly with schools and through collaboration with the Kingwood curriculum team. Kingwood technicians are therefore uniquely placed to support the maintentance and development of schools' curriculum ICT to support and enhance learning.
Kingwood CLC ICT Technical Service Level Agreement 2010-11
The Kingwood CLC ICT Technical Support Service Level Agreement 2008-9 has been revised with reference to the Becta Frameork for ICT Technical Support in Primary Schools (FITS), taking account of feedback and the needs of local schools. The Kingwood CLC ICT Technical Support Service Level Agreement aims to provide best value and best quality support to schools and enable schools to provide reliable access to ICT for learning through:

a planned programme of implementation, maintenance and repair with a focus on preventing incidenss befre the occur;

training and support for school staff to enable speedy resolution of basic technical issues;

effective management of school ICT assets (including software licences);

effective communication and systems of monitoring and reporting with clear accountability for schools and technical support staff.

Kingwood Curriculum Network Installation Service
Kingwood City Learning Centre offers support to schools in the setting-up of new curriculum workstations and in the planning and installation of curriculum networks. Schools buying in to the Technical Service Level Agreement have access to consultation support, including obtaining quotes for hardware, and to a discounted price for installations. Installations are not included as part of the Technical Service Level Agreement and must be arranged separately with Kingwood CLC. Schools who do not have a current Technical Service Level Agreement may purchase Kingwood consultancy based on a daily rate and installation support based on the number of workstations included in the installation.
